Frequently asked questions regarding Nurture Sleep PLLC

Flexible weekday, evening, and weekend hours available.
2. Complete intake forms
Sent via email or text and linked to your HIPAA-compliant portal.
3. Have your consultation
Meet with your provider via video chat (in-person visits available on request).
4. Diagnostic testing (if needed):
- Home Sleep Test (HST): Done from the comfort of your home
- In-lab Sleep Test: At a local center near you
5. Follow-up visit: Review your results and discuss an individualized treatment plan
6. Ongoing care: We’re here to support your long-term sleep health journey.
We currently accept only Medicare for consultations or diagnostics. While we join Insurance panels, we are offering transparent, flat-fee pricing. Email us at billing@nurturesleepmd.com
- CPAP machines, dental appliances, and prescription medications are often covered by insurance. Please check with your insurance provider for details.
We understand it's hard to take time off for clinic visits, so we offer:

We appreciate at least 24 hours' notice for any changes.
Home Sleep Test (HST)
- FDA-approved
- Done in your own home
- Most patients complete testing within 1–2 weeks of the initial consult
- Devices shipped directly to your home
DOT Clearance: Chain-of-custody HST devices can be picked up from a local lab in Minnesota (other states coming soon).
In-Lab Polysomnogram (PSG)
- Coordinated with your preferred local lab or our trusted partners
- Insurance eligibility checks provided by lab partners
Home Polysomnogram (PSG)
- FDA-approved system from Onera Health
- Currently not covered by insurance — flat-fee pricing available upon request
One size does not fit all. We take a patient-centered, collaborative approach to treatment.
- Sleep Hygiene: The foundation of long-term sleep health
- CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure):
Gold standard for treating sleep apnea. We refer to trusted DME partners who will:- Coordinate insurance benefits
- Ensure a smooth equipment setup process
- Dental Appliance:
For mild to moderate sleep apnea or CPAP-intolerant patients.- Referral to local sleep dentists
- For cash-pay options, ask about the FDA-approved Daybreak custom device
- CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia):
Referrals available to experienced providers who can also assist with insurance navigation - Medications:
Prescribed as needed and sent to your preferred pharmacy
Note: We do not prescribe opioids or benzodiazepines
- Inspire Therapy:
We currently do not manage Inspire titration but can refer you to a local expert.
(We aim to offer support for this soon.)
Yes — we’re with you every step of the way.
- Access to HIPAA-compliant chat and text for non-urgent issues
- Phone support during business hours for urgent matters
- Follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust treatment
- Remote CPAP data monitoring (if indicated — additional cost may apply)
